Masters in Research studentships for health and care professionals

Masters in Research studentships are available for early career registered health and care professionals. If you are graduating as a health and care professional or have up to 5 years of practice experience as a registered professional with an eligible regulatory body, the MRes will enable you to develop your research skills to apply in your future practitioner career.
The studentships are funded by the NIHR INSIGHT programme and offer:
Tuition fees and a tax-free stipend: For 2025/2025, the stipend is £20,780 for full-time (1 year) and £10,390 for part-time (2 years) study
Study at either UWE Bristol or Bournemouth University for South West Central region studentships
Studentships are now available for MRes programmes starting in September 2025. The closing date for applications is 31 March 2025.
