ARC West and UWE launch research internship programme for nurses, midwives and allied health professionals

NIHR ARC West and the University of the West of England (UWE) have joined forces to create an innovative research internship programme for nurses, midwives and allied health professionals (NMAHPs).
This internship offers new or recent NMAHP graduates the opportunity to be involved in health research in a clinical or applied setting. It is an opportunity for NMAHPs to broaden their experience of healthcare research.

You will:
Be employed by the University of the West of England as a Research Intern
Have a fixed term contract for 30 hours per week for 8 weeks at a salary of £18,036 pro-rata
Get to work with established research teams and make an identifiable contribution to a current project
Be part of a group of interns working with different teams and have the opportunity to share your experiences
Gain insight into health research in clinical and applied settings and help to plan a clinical academic career.
Have a line manager to support you and a project lead to provide you with guidance.
