Local Sustainability and Transformation Partnership (STP) programme and project managers benefited from workshops on evidence and evaluation in October and November.
The CLAHRC West training team, in partnership with the West of England Academic Health Science Network, ran the two workshops to give a rapid, practical and inspiring introduction to evidence and evaluation. The remit of the STP team includes supporting and promoting evidence and evaluation activities in the local workforce, so this training has the potential to impact on the wider culture of the sector.
Two GPs joined the workshops to share their experiences of supporting evidence and evaluation in a local clinical commissioning group, giving a flavour of the local context. The STP team was also introduced to a suite of electronic resources designed to facilitate wider spread of the course content. These were well received by staff:
